Barbie and Ken: The Breakup - A global integrated campaign targeting Mattel, and the rest of the toy industry, to stop Indonesian rainforest being destroyed to make toy packaging. Playing off the long term relationship between Ken and Barbie, the tongue in cheek campaign saw an angry Ken dump Barbie due to his disgust at her not so eco-friendly credentials.
As a RESULT OF THE CAMPAIGN - Mattel, Disney, Hasbro and Lego are adopting a 0 deforestation policy.
We made the world a better place.
